This is part one of the twins 1st birthday photos! I came to their home to capture their birthday party, and I also took their 1 year studio milestone portraits which I’ll share next! You can tell this mom absolutely loves having little girls. She also loves to throw a good party and she really played up the girliness at this event! I love the sweet pink decor, the cake, and all the little details she put into making this event special.
She had family from all over fly in, this is a THIGHT KNIT family. These girls are surrounded by so much love and it’s neat to be a little part of this family as I’ve come back many times to take their photos over the course of her pregnancy and watching the twins grow. Everyone knows me now! This is one of the really great parts of my job, the relationships and community it creates!
Part of what I do when I come for event photography, is I usually take lots of candids, I take all the detail shots and really try to capture the ambiance and ‘feel’ of the event. Then I take quick posed shots and sneak in when ever I see a sweet moment. Events like this are my speciality! You can see these girls at their 6 month milestone session here!
