This lifestyle newborn session was taken in the home of my clients. I brought my bean bag, wraps, blankets, hair bows, floral crowns, etc. to make this session extra sweet to celebrate another little girl being born into this family. We kept it relaxed and fun. It can be hard sometimes getting older siblings (who are still very little) to cooperate for photos. I have lots of tricks of my sleeve! I worked first with the new baby and big sis was able to watch, observe,, run around, eat snacks, watch her shows, etc. When her time came for photos, there was less pressure and it was more fun and natural. I have little games and prompts that help the kids get in the shot without feeling forced. Songs and jokes and silly sounds all help bring out those genuine smiles.
