This newborn session was taken in the home of my clients in Cumming, GA. As a lifestyle newborn photographer, I get a small glimpse into the lives of these families and it’s always such a beautiful thing to witness. This baby boy was just 2 weeks old and his family is so joyful to have him. During the family photos I asked mom and dad to look at each other and then I noticed mom tearing up. The journey to motherhood and growing a family is a crazy, beautiful, emotional journey and I totally get the tears. Sometimes you have no words. I’m grateful for these families that trust me enough to open up their homes to me and allow me to capture these intimate moments in their lives.
For this lifestyle newborn session, we used a few areas in the home. This little boys big sister is only 2 years old, which is always a challenging age to photograph. Not quite old enough to listen and not quiet young enough to not have a mind of her own. ; ) I always find ways to work around this. Big sister did beautifully. I love this first image of her just hanging out with her brother in her room. A whole new adventure awaits for them!
