Aa a Buckhead newborn photographer I offer both studio and lifestyle sessions, and sometimes a combo of both! This session was taken in the home of my clients in Buckhead, Atlanta, and they wanted both the natural lifestyle session look, but still wanted those studio style squishy posed newborn photos! I totally get it. So I brought my whole set up, and I brought my sweet assistant, and we gave this family a full blown studio + lifestyle session! Mom especially wanted some squishy naked photos, and this plump little guy did not disappoint! His beautiful big sister joined os for some sibling shots before we moved on to the lifestyle part of the session.
Funny story about this session. As many of you know. I’m a mom to 3 small kids myself. After my childcare arrived I was in a rush to get out the door! I don’t actually live in Buckhead, I live in Cumming and travel to the city quite a bit. I forgot my tank was almost on empty after I left this session. I was tired and hungry after working with this sweet boy for a few hours! Anyways I hopped on the highway and noticed my gas level desperately low. Well apparently it’s really hard to find gas stations in Atlanta, especially when you’ve already hopped on the interstate. I was panicking a little, imagining myself trapped on the deadly hwy 400 in downtown Atlanta…thankfully I did find a gas station, had to go the opposite way and sit in traffic both ways adding 40 minutes to my trip. UGH Atlanta, I have a love hate relationship with you. I rolled into the station just as my gas level ticked to zero. THANK YOU JESUS! ( I mean that!)
